Hook, Line & Sinker

Campbell Lakes

Campbell Lakes has four lakes for fishing by car-top boat (such as canoes, kayaks, and jon boats) or from the bank. Motors are not allowed. An Ohio State Fishing License is required. Ohio fishing regulations must be followed at all times.

Lake Isabella

Stocked weekly from March through October. Fish from the bank, dock, a rental boat or your personal canoe or kayak on Tuesdays. Purchase a fishing ticket at the boathouse. State fishing license not required.

Miami Whitewater Forest

Stocked each summer with channel catfish, Miami Whitewater Forest permits anglers to fish from the lake's bank, a rental boat or their personal canoe or kayak. A state fishing license is required.

Mitchell Memorial Forest

River Hill Pond at Mitchell Memorial Forest offers catch-and-release bank fishing. No license is required.

Sharon Woods

Sharon Lake offers boat and bank fishing. Rentals are available and licensed private canoes & kayaks are permitted. An Ohio State Fishing License is required.

Bank fishing is allowed at Triple Creek Park. No state fishing license is required and you may take home what you catch.

Fish Stocking Schedule

Great Parks stocks its lakes with thousands of pounds of adult fish annually. 

Farm-raised rainbow trout are stocked in March and October when lake waters are cooler. Channel catfish are stocked in the summer at each lake. 

Additional species include blue and shovelhead catfish and bluegill.
