Steamboat Bend Boat Ramp Closed
Due to river levels and debris, the Steamboat Bend Boat Ramp and Marina is closed until the water level returns to normal.
Holiday on the Farm will be closed this Sunday due to inclement weather.
This closure ensures the safety of our animals, staff and guests. Thank you for your understanding — we will reopen as soon as conditions allow.
Pavillion Restrooms Closed
All of Embshoff Woods Nature Preserve is currently without power so the restroom building at the pavilion is temporarily closed.
Mitchell Mountain Bike Trail Closed
The mountain bike trail at Mitchell Memorial Forest remains closed due to wet conditions. Please do not ride.
Winton Woods - Lakeview Drive Closure
Aug. 25 - Sept. 25: Lakeview Drive will be closed for a culvert replacement project near the Locust Dell area.
Closure of Buckeye Falls Drive
Buckeye Falls Drive/Kreis Dam will be closed from Highbanks Drive to the Sharon Woods Golf Course Parking Lot, and will be closed to pedestrian and vehicular access due to construction activities on weekdays from Sept. 2 - 30, 2025.
Miami Whitewater Forest Disc Golf Course Closed
The Miami Whitewater Forest Disc Golf Course will be temporarily closed due to construction of the newly designed 18-hole Disc Golf Course. The course will re-open in the early Fall of 2025.
Sharon Woods Closures
Ongoing: Due to construction of the Sharon Lake draining and dredging project, park facilities will close beginning April 1, 2024: Sharon Lake, including the fishing dock and canoe/kayak launch, Boathouse, Shared-Use Trail around the lake, Lakeside Lodge reservable shelter & adjacent parking lot on Kemper Road and the Upper Gorge parking lot near Kreis Dam.
Winton Lake Public Access
Public access to Winton Lake is prohibited while the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) lowers the water level for essential dam maintenance from August to November 2025. Boathouse operations, rentals, paddling access, fishing and all other lake-based recreational activities will resume in spring 2026.
Gatehouse Entrance Closed
July 14 - Sept. 15: The gatehouse entrance to Glenwood Gardens will be closed for renovation from July 14, 2025 to September 15, 2025, weather permitting. Access to Cotswold Visitor Center and the trail will be maintained.
