A rich diversity of native trees, shrubs and wildflowers.

Spanning rugged hills near the Great Miami River, Oak Glen Nature Preserve is home to uncommon plant species and few invasives, suggesting minimal past land disturbance. It remains a protected conservation area managed by Great Parks to preserve Hamilton County's natural beauty. Great Parks continues to work with the Ohio EPA, Sunoco Logistics and Mid-Valley Pipeline by continuing to examine the stream and surrounding areas and providing recommendations to remediate and restore damages from the 2014 Oil Spill.
